CBD, cannabidiol, is one of over 100 compounds from the cannabis plant and is most often derived from hemp. Despite the negative connotation or “high” imagery that comes to mind when you hear cannabis, CBD does not alter your behavior in any way. The intoxicating feeling from smoking or ingesting cannabis is due to another chemical compound in the plant called tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC.
Delta-9 THC, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or simply “THC,” is the compound in cannabis responsible for the psychoactive "high" commonly associated with marijuana. It is just one of the hundreds of compounds and cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. While THC is more concentrated in marijuana plants, it can also be found in and extracted from hemp plants in smaller amounts.
In 2018, Congress passed the 2018 Farm Bill, which removed hemp as a federally controlled substance. Our hemp-derived CBD and Delta-9 products are legal and follow the strict guidelines as set forth under the 2018 United States Farm Bill.
The bill also states that any hemp and hemp-derived products that contain less than 0.3% THC by dry weight are considered federally legal in the United States. By this definition, all of our Delta-9 THC products are federally compliant under the standards set by the 2018 Farm Bill.
CBD affects everyone differently. It can make some people feel pleasantly calm and refreshed, like they've just gotten a massage or taken a yoga class. Many people use CBD to relieve feelings of stress or to help them get a better night’s sleep. After taking CBD, you may feel a range of benefits:
It can take up to 60 minutes for your CBD to start kicking in. You may find it helpful to keep a log of how you feel so that you can see how it improves over time.
You deserve to have the relief, focus, and rest you want, when you need it the most.
